During your consultation, we’ll get to know your specific goals and aesthetic concerns and will guide you to one of our three liposuction choices:

Traditional Liposuction - The original surgical technique that uses a cannula (hollow tube) connected to a vacuum to remove fat deposits from beneath the skin. The surgeon manually manipulates the cannula to break up and suction out fat cells.
SmartLipo - A laser-assisted liposuction technique that uses laser energy to liquefy fat cells before removal, making the extraction process less traumatic. This approach can also stimulate collagen production, potentially improving skin tightening.
Triplex Laser Liposuction - An advanced form of laser liposuction that utilizes three different wavelengths of laser energy. The "Triplex" system combines these wavelengths to more effectively target fat while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues, potentially offering improved results with less downtime.

A Speedy Procedure

Liposuction can be carried out under local anaesthetic with sedation given by one of our experienced consultant anaesthetists and can take as little as a couple of hours. This means you can have your procedure performed in one of our clinics and be home recovering on the very same day.

Recovery from Liposuction

After your operation, you will be given adequate pain relief to keep you comfortable, and you will have access to medical advice 24/7. You’ll need to wear a compression garment on the treatment area for up to six weeks to aid recovery and encourage your ideal results. As with all surgical procedures, you’ll experience post-surgical swelling and bruising.

As your body heals over the coming weeks, you’ll see your results taking shape. This can take up to six months, as your healing continues and your shape improves. It is essential to be aware of the fact that it is important to maintain a stable body weight in order to continue enjoying your liposuction results in the long term.

Significant weight gain can work against the effects of this procedure. We recommend that you take one week away from work, depending on your industry and ability to work from home. After one week, you can resume your normal activities, but you must wait six weeks before resuming any kind of exercise.
